As snow fell on Jackson during the night of February 8-9, 2013, the Jackson Township First Aid Squad stood ready to deliver ambulance service to the people of Jackson, with three ambulances and two first responder vehicles staffed.
Though 'Winter Storm Nemo' turned out to be little more than a nuisance, the Squad, relying on its experience from previous winter storms, brought on extra staff to handle an expected increase in calls. More than 15 squad members volunteered their time to assist the regular duty crew.
