On January 30, 2016 members and guests of the Jackson Township First Aid Squad began their 62nd year in service with their annual installation of officers and awards dinner.
Township Council Vice President Ken Bressi was in attendance to swear in the 2016 officers: Deborah Amato, Vice President, Nicole Couceiro, Treasurer, Diane Stanaway, Corresponding Secretary, Deborah Visconi, Recording Secretary, Al Couceiro, Chief, Keith Massey, First Lieutenant, Steven Porth, Second Lieutenant, Matthew Albrecht, First Sergeant, Kevin Bender, Second Sergeant, Stan O’Brien Jr, Trustee and John Burrows, Trustee.
Amongst the many awards presented EMT Matthew Cladek received the Desirae Patricia Ferry Award for being 2015s “Top Call Runner” by answering 245 calls for service. Lieutenant Keith Massey was presented an appreciation award by the squad for leading a grant project which awarded the squad over $117,000 for personal protective equipment. while EMT Timothy Shockley was awarded the 2015 Chief's Award.
